To summarise:

Tencent Gaming Buddy has a number of different Rendering settings and whilst any of the DirectX or OpenGL options should be compatible with FBX, we've found that some of them can give inconsistent results so the default option may not always be the best to use.

For example, on Windows 7, Tencent Gaming Buddy doesn't seem to actually use DirectXl, even when one of those options is selected. If it isn't using DirectX, FBX cannot detect it to let you record it.

We've found that OpenGL+ is the most reliable, so if you're not seeing the overlay, we recommend that you give that one a try.

After every reboot all off my settings go back to default and I have to change them to my preferred taste... e.g. 1080 instead off original which in my case is 4k. It happens to hotkey's, Video Settings, and Overlay, I havn't had any need to change the other settings but I presume it would happen to those to.

This is a lovely app and works bloody amazingly for a free recorder but being able to keep your settings saved after every reboot is crucial for any application!

The app may not have write access to its config file or registry. Running it as administrator or reinstalling with elevated permissions can fix this.

The Focusrite uses ASIO? If so, I'm afraid FBX doesn't fully support ASIO yet. We'll add this at some point.
