Only 1 second of recording is saved

Whenever I record longer than a second in the recordings tab for the preview of the video it only shows 1 second of the video. The link down below is the download to a video showing the issue. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/518221827898605579/544687122246795264/fbx_not_working.wmv

We see that there was some problem caused by the game sound only option being enabled. Can you do the following to send us some more info please:
1 - Start FBX and go to the Support tab
2 - Change the Log Level setting to 'Verbose'
3 - Start your game and attempt to make another recording
4 - Switch back to FBX and send us another problem report from the Support tab
5 - Change the Log Level setting to 'Normal'(If you change to 'System sounds' in the Audio settings after doing this, I expect that you should be able to record while we investigate this problem.)

@FBX-Recorder Alright it seems that the issue isn't there anymore for some apparent reason however if this does happen again I will be sure to do this. Also for some reason while recording fortnite my recording frames are quite low any recommended settings?
Specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz

Current resolution: 1920 x 1080, 60Hz
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Home

I expect one of the hardware encoders available to you will be 'NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti'. If you aren't using that one, give it a try - it'll perform better than the Intel encoders that are available and probably also a bit better than the other Nvidia encoder that can sometimes be available.
Making sure that you aren't running any unneeded apps in the background that may be hogging system resources can certainly also help.

@FBX-Recorder Alright I did that however the lag was still occurring so I went to my task manager and changed the priority to above normal which seemed to help fbx. Sorry to annoy you but is there any way I can record stretched fortnite and not have the black bars. Im asking too many questions XD.
-
You mean you are using a 4:3 resolution in the game but are stretching that to fill a 16:9 display? FBX will only be able to record the original 4:3 image that is being created by the game.
-
@FBX-Recorder No so for stretched I mean I change my whole desktop resolution to 1080x1080 but later on I change it back to 1920x1080 while editing or doing homework etc

Because FBX captures directly from the game itself, only the game's resolution is considered, not your desktop's.
If you have the 'Original' setting selected in FBX, the saved video will simply be the same resolution as the game is using. So if the game's resolution is 1080 x 1080, you should get an unstretched 1080 x 1080 video.
If you have 1080p, 720p, etc selected in FBX, the game's image will be scaled to that resolution but the aspect ratio will be maintained with black padding added to fill it out to the relevant 16:9 resolution. So if you had 1080p selected in FBX and the game is set to 1080 x 1080, I would expect that you would see the game's image 1080 x 1080 unstretched image with 420 pixels width of black on either side to give a 1920 x 1080 video.
