Alright, I've been there, buddy. It's a puzzle indeed when unwanted bits cling to your videos. Video editing can feel like navigating a minefield of codecs and timelines. Funny enough, I once wrestled with removing a particularly embarrassing moment from a presentation, it was like trying to beat a crazy level in geometry dash with lag – unbelievably frustrating. Is there some simple free software you could try?

Go to your Windows Control Panel and "Programs and Features". There will be an item for "FBX Recorder" you can use to uninstall it.

Alternatively go to "PC Settings" in Windows, then "System", then "Apps and Features" and find the item for FBX.

After every reboot all off my settings go back to default and I have to change them to my preferred taste... e.g. 1080 instead off original which in my case is 4k. It happens to hotkey's, Video Settings, and Overlay, I havn't had any need to change the other settings but I presume it would happen to those to.

This is a lovely app and works bloody amazingly for a free recorder but being able to keep your settings saved after every reboot is crucial for any application!

The app may not have write access to its config file or registry. Running it as administrator or reinstalling with elevated permissions can fix this.

The Focusrite uses ASIO? If so, I'm afraid FBX doesn't fully support ASIO yet. We'll add this at some point.
