Recording particular part of the screen

Hi everyone, i'm a new user here.
I'm wondering if this recorder can record only a particular part of my monitor or no. Because i can't find the settings anywhere.
If you still confused with my question, here is an example:- I want to record just half screen of my monitor. Is it possible? And if it is possible, how to do that?

Hi. FXB just records the game you're playing. You can't set the capture region to something different from the game, to only record a part of it.
FBX will record the game whether its fullscreen or in a window.

So, i can't record just a part of the game and the recorder will record it fully? Just to make sure.
