Stuck on Login

  • After I am prompted to login, this is done successfully in my web browser which then says your FBX will start shortly.
FBX has a small window saying "getting FBX login from server..."
I get as far as this screen

  • administrators

If you click Cancel on that window and then restart FBX, does that get you past it?

  • I'm having this same problem, except that after the "getting FBX login from server" sits there for a while, I get another window that says, "Failed to authenticate to the FBX account server. FBX needs to do this when it starts - check your internet connection." I've tried logging in using both Google and my email address, and I am definitely connected to the internet.

  • Oh, and the Cancel button on the window that says "getting FBX login from server..." doesn't work, so that didn't solve the issue.

Sorry to hear about this. We'll need some log files from your PC to figure out what's going wrong.

    Can you do this please:

    • In Windows Explorer go to the folder c:\ProgramData\Blueberry Software\FBXGameRecorder
(you may need to turn on 'hidden items' in the View tab of Windows Explorer to see the folder)

    • The folder contains a number of folders named 'Session_....'. Right click the most recently created and select Send To -> Compressed Folder.

    • Email the zip file this creates to [email protected]

And we'll take a look. Thanks!

Hi. We've made a fix to the login server - if you try again, it should be fine.

  • @FBX-Recorder Yep, it works just fine now. Thanks for being so on top of fixes and troubleshooting!

  • Oh, and Giga Bowser is also me, just an alternate account. But yes, thank you for the fix!

OK :) Good to hear that fixed it.

  • Hi jeffhell, i actually found a way to fix this out. You just need to set up a default web browser to your computer. Check it out buddy
