Audio from mic incredibly quiet

I'm doing some tests and I noticed that my mic is really quiet, to the point where my voice sounds like a whisper. But my volume is all the way up, how do I make it louder?

Hi. First, have you definitely set the mic volume slider to the maximum on the 'Webcam and Sound' tab in FBX?

If so, take a look in Window settings to see if you can increase the volume or boost it there:
