When you switch to the game you're trying to record, can you see the FBX overlay? It looks like the one in 'How to record' on the Home tab in FBX.

You can only record a game if the overlay appears. What game are you trying to record?

I'm having the same problem, I see the overlay but nothing happens when I Ctrl F12. I'm trying to record Roblox

@FBX-Recorder when I hit CTrl f12 it does not record it just tries to connect to a device and throw is the 3 program I try and I thought it was going to work but it did not so please help can u like change the bottoms u need to press please thanks get back to me soon

What do you mean by "it just tries to connect to a device"? What device?

You can change your hotkeys in the Hotkeys section of the Settings.

I you have laptop press ctrl+fn+f12 it will work
