Renaming Clips

When I rename my clips in the FBX app, then go to the files in my folders they don't retain the file names. If I try to rename them while FBX is still open I can't rename them because the files are still in use by the app. How can I rename my clips within the FBX app so they retain the file names after closing the app and when viewed in their respective folders?

in order to rename the clips, you have to first close your folders, it is not possible to rename the clips when they are opened or running in the background.
