Stuck at "Getting Ready..."

Hi, I'm having problems getting FBX to open. It goes through the startup and login process and then says "Getting Ready..." and that's where it gets stuck. I tried reinstalling, with no luck. Is this a known issue, and what can I do to fix it?

This isn't a known issue. To figure it out, we'll need to see log files, but if FBX isn't starting, you'll need to send them to us manually. Can you:
- Open the folder C:\ProgramData\Blueberry Software\FBXGameRecorder in Windows Explorer
- In that folder will be a number of "Session..." folders. right click the most recent, and select Send To -> Compressed Folder.
- Email the zip file that creates to [email protected]
And we'll try to work out a solution.

We think we found the cause of the problem and have created a fix for it. We'll send you a download link for a new version to try shortly.
If the problem still occurs, please send us a new set of log files as we've added some more details to the logs just in case we need to take another look. Hopefully that won't be necessary though.

Same problem "Stuck at Getting ready" now occurs after latest Windows update (which screwed other things up as well...)
in my destination folder in Explorer there are no "session..."-Folders though

@Soka-Muck Yeah, it seems like the Windows update is what messed everything up. Maybe you can get the admins to send you the link to the new version they sent me, which should fix the problem regardless of whether or not you can find your session folders.

It's been these unwelcome Win 10 updates for me from the start... MS Windows is only going downhill for decades... The intentions may mean well but the way they execute them in code is never thought out.
These forced updates have been messing with my equiptment everytime.
And it's not the components....I'm very glad that I don't rely on MS for any of my work!
