Does FBX Game Recorder upload videos automatically after recording, and if so, how can I disable it?
-
Alright, so, I got some pretty bad internet and I am noticing that after recording a video, the internet gets extremely bad.
-
So basically, if it does, I need to know how to disable it.
-
The only time FBX uploads your videos is when you click the YouTube button. It will never upload any video automatically.
-
Then why is my internet becoming insanely slow and then fast again when I exit the program completely?
-
I was in the middle of a recording, so I kind of need a explanation before I can get back to my recording.
-
So I just tried to start and stop recording to see how much internet my computer then started to take. When I stopped recording, it started taking a lot of the internet.
Then I exited it and then the network became stable again.
If this is it uploading to my account, then I need to know how to stop it in order to be able to keep using it.
-
How are you measuring this? Have you checked the network usage in Task Manager?
You may occasionally see FBX use a few kb of network data for a moment when it checks that your account is still up to date but that is so small it wouldn't even be possible to notice the difference that makes to your internet speed.
-
It didn't log anything in the Task Manager, but I checked and I got no virus and whenever I stop the recording, the software just starts to suck all of my internet, the uploading part, until I exit it. And then first after I exit it, it's fine.
-
If FBX were sucking all of your internet, you would see it in Task Manager. If Task Manager doesn't show FBX doing anything, then it cannot be what is responsible.
-
Ok, I am going to do a proper test real quick.
-
Ok, so I've just run a test with the task manager.
It didn't really take that much internet, though it was only a 3mb file, and the internet usually gets sucked when I finish a like 100mb+ file.

I am going to let you know if I get any issues with the internet later
