How do I fix choppy videos?

I have a stable FPS in game but whenever I record a video the output is really choppy but in game is completely fine. I have the video to be recorded at 30 FPS with Mid quality. This issue happens in TF2, and I'm not sure the cause.

If you reproduce the problem and then immediately use the Send a problem report option on FBX's Support tab to send us your performance data, we'll take a look to see if there are any problems.
