Recording at 45 FPS instead of 60, Why??
-
So, basically i record minecraft with FBX and before it was working fine BUT, now a days its recording only at 45 FPS,(Set to 60) i am using Intel QSV h.264 Encoder MFT medium quality it was working fine, before so what could have caused this?

The performance that you get depends on several things - the spec of your PC, what else you have running on your PC while you are recording (other things that could be using system resources), the settings that you have selected in FBX, the game that you are recording and the settings that you have it running at.
Without having all these details, its hard to say what could have changed, but if you use the Send a Problem Report option on FBX's Support tab, that will send us your performance data and we can at least check to see if that reveals anything.

OK so this is the reply i got, " The performance that you get depends on several things - the spec of your PC, what else you have running on your PC while you are recording (other things that could be using system resources), the settings that you have selected in FBX, the game that you are recording and the settings that you have it running at.

Also no other applications were running.

Your report includes performance data for a few weeks and everything seems to be fairly consistent over that period - we cannot see any changes over the last few days.
Bear in mind that even if the game was running at 113 fps while recording, that won't necessarily be the frame rate that you are recording at. However, the performance data that we received indicates that generally your game was running at a much lower frame rate than 113 fps and usually wasn't much higher than the recording frame rate.

@FBX-Recorder ok so i did cap my fps to Vsync while i recorded previous vids, but i can assure you it might have gotten upto 40 to 50 ish for sometime, as i mostly play online but heyy what can cause this? Like today i tried by removing cap on my game and it was consistent over 70 fps like "consistent" it didnt drop more than 70, still recording rate was 45, HOW as even before it was recording at 60 fps, with same system same game no changea no background application, even turning resolution down didnt help at all.

The performance data sent to us doesn't show any recordings that are achieving 60 fps so this doesn't appear to be something new in the last few days. Even before that, it seems that you were achieving recording frame rates typically in the 40s.
Unfortunately, that is sometimes just what certain hardware is capable, especially when there is not a dedicated graphics card to offload a lot of the work to meaning that everything FBX is doing is CPU-bound along with the game.

@FBX-Recorder ahh whatever, i will try to do sth myself

@Alphasid-_333 Hey, dont worry! This also happens to me, try using a faster HDD or using an SSD, that should help
