Client freezes and stuff

Hey Blueberry folks,
I'm just leaving my comment here see if you could work on some of the following. So I just kickstarted a new channel on yt and looking for a reliable recorder for my gameplay footage. Tried obs and playtv and so far this fbx has proven to deliver the most.
My situation is that my machine is rather limited, and so both obs and playtv produced very choppy framerate. Fbx outperforms these two on similar spec (hardware encoder detected, I'll also post the spec below) so whatever tech you guys have come up with for the current version, kudos on that. However.
After using the free version for about a week I come to conclusion that the software feels it's not ready for release. I'm using v3.3.0.2106 fyi.

The recorder client would freeze after I stop my recording with the hotkey. What could possible cause this? It manages to save the mp4 recording though, I tested playing it on vlc, the file is not corrupt which is fine. However with the client frozen I can't make another recording without restarting it. This happens not often enough for me to speculate on the why, but it did happen a couple times now.2/
The library in the recorder client won't show more than 3 recorded files--is this the limitation of the free version? It's a hassle to have to export the individual mp4 everytime I stop recording. With these issues I'm really on the fence about buying the subscription now. The recorded footage does look crisp and of good quality. I have tried on League of Legends and Dead Cells, the resulting framerate look discernably better compared to the other 2 software I mentioned.
btw, machine's spec:
AMD A6-6400K with integrated graphic Radeon HD 8470D, drawing 2gb from the physical RAM (my default setting when not recording is 1gb for the vga, and 2gb is proven to improve the recording's framerate)
Physical RAM is a single 8gb of DDR3 PC12800 from Corsair. Nothing is overclocked in the system only the XMP thingy enabled.
Looking forward for these issues to be addressed and for other users may the info above could be helpful one way or another. Oh I also needed to record from the emulator called Winkawaks, so far not seeing any overlay from the fbx.

Hi. We've not seen reports of these problems, so we need log files...
-
Reproduce the problem where FBX freezes on stopping recording. Restart FBX, go to the Support tab and send us a report.
-
You mean the list of movies in the Recordings tab will only show 3 movies? I'll guess this is due to the freeze on stopping recording - the new movie is never added to the list. Hopefully this problem will be fixed if we can solve 1).
Thanks!

Hey folks thanks for your response.
I'll remember to send a report via client when the next freezing happens. As for point 2, yes the Recordings tab shows only 3 latest videos at max, and when I check in the temp folder (I use custom location) there are only 3 mp4 files at one time, anything older than that would not be there as if the recorder just auto-deleted them. First I thought "oh could be one of the limitation until I upgrade" but then after seeing more bugs now I'm not so sure hence my question. Here's a screengrab: https://snag.gy/7fFHPN.jpg
Actually I just checked again and it could be that I had the folder size limit at 1gb? lol I upped the number and will come back here if the issue remains. The freezing still isn't solved for now.

Ah, that's probably the cause of the 3 movie limit :) Those recordings can get big, depending on the FPS and quality you set, so 1Gb is probably not enough.
Anyway, send us the report next time you get a freeze and we'll try to figure the cause.

Hey folks!
So I proceeded recording a few more hours worth of footage and so far I haven't experienced any freezing I mentioned before. Which I assume must be solved by allowing more space for the temp folder.Just asking a quickie here, not worth a new thread. The log says it's now v3.4 and includes full screen recording, no longer DX-dependent, should I have a clean install? as in I need to uninstall current one. Thank you in advance.

When you next run FBX, the update will download in the background. When you restart FBX after that, you will be prompted to install the update. Just click to install the update and then FBX do its thing - there's no need for a clean install or anything like that.
