Maybe you've changed the keybind. To reset it to default, open FBX, go to Hotkeys, put your mouse over the box next to Start/Stop Recording and press Ctrl+F12.

Alternatively, on Windows 10, there's an option to only use F12 for the system use (E.g. enable Flight Mode) and to use it in-game, you need to press Fn (Function) then F12. I'm not sure where to change it in settings but if the method above didn't work, press Ctrl+Fn+F12 that should get it to work

Sneaky Sniper - as Matteo says, make sure you've got the Record hotkey set to ctrl+f12 first. If that's definitely set ok and you're still getting nothing on pressing it, please reproduce the problem, then go to the Support tab and send us a report. Can you tell us what game you're trying to record.

Also, do you see the FBX overlay on the game? You can see what the overlay should look like on the Overlay tab in FBX.
