Failed Operation

If I try to make a clip or edit a video in any way shape or form the program just pops up with the error : failed operation, and then crashes. Any fix?

Please reproduce the crash, restart the app and then immediately use the Send a Problem Report on the Support tab to send us your log files so we can check what is happening.
