  We don't have a 'Join' function yet in FBX but we'll be working on it soon. In the meantime, try this free app for joining MP4 files: https://www.fosshub.com/MP4Joiner.html

  You'd need to save the clips as MP4s from FBX first.

  By default FBX records at the same resolution as the game. If you want a smaller sized recording, go to Settings -> Video -> Resolution and pick the dimensions you want.

  Turning off the overlay probably won't have any effect - GTAV anti-cheat may be detecting processes 'injecting' themselves into the game process. Game recorders have to do this to capture the game in a high-performance way. If this is the case all we can do is contact R* to get FBX whitelisted, as we've done with other anti-cheat providers.

  It depends how hard that game is loading the PC. Give it a try. You can reduce the amount of resources FBX uses by going to the Settings -> Video tab and making sure you're using a hardware encoder, reducing the FPS and resolution.

  Yes - go to the Hotkeys tab in Settings and make sure a hotkey is set for 'Save Clip'. Then go to the Options tab, the 'Clips' section and set that to 30 seconds or whatever you need.

  Then when you're recording (you need to be already recording), you can hit the hotkey and the last 30 seconds of gameplay will be saved to an MP4 file. You'll see it saved in your 'Recordings' tab.
