Problem with video track in sony vegas pro 14
-
We've made a fix which should prevent this problem from happening to any future recordings. A pre-release version which includes the fix is available from http://ds.bbsoftware.co.uk/dp.aspx?file=bbfbx_2.5.0.1916.exe.
If you try this version out, can you let us know if the fix is successful or not please?
(Note - One of the notable changes is that, by default, closing the FBX window now minimises it to the system tray. You can revert to the old behaviour by changing the new setting in the Settings. And don't worry, the spelling mistake in one of those options will be corrected by the time the next update is released)

Still not working :(

@Lego007las-2.0 I have the exact same problem. Personally, I imported the problem video into a free program called Handbrake and re-encoded it using the HQ Youtube/Vimeo 720p60 preset, then changed the bitrate from 23 to 15. After that, it imported flawlessly.

Can you get the latest 2.6 update to FBX, make a new recording and try to import it to Vegas again? If it still doesn't work, can you confirm that movies recorded with the other NVidia hardware encoder can be imported ok? Thanks.
-
To add to our post above: if its still not working, can you go to the Support tab and send us a report. We found a bug and fixed it in v2.6, but the problem should have been rare, so we'd like to know more.

Hello, I'm having the same problem now, is there any other ways to fix it? Please I've been searching but still didn't find any solution for this..
-
@Quickk-TO Can you send us an MP4 recorded by FBX that doesn't import correctly into Vegas? And can you tell us what version of Vegas you're using.
-
I'm using VEGAS Pro 14.0 but how can I send mp4 file here?
-
@Quickk-TO We'll email you a link you can upload an MP4 to.
-
I've sent, now what do I do?
-
@Quickk-TO Thanks! We're looking at it. Its strange because our recording import ok, same encoder (Intel), same dimensions and FPS.
-
Ok, we think this is a recently fixed problem. Try this new build:
http://ds.bbsoftware.co.uk/dp.aspx?file=bbfbx_2.8.0.1984.exe
Make some recordings and see if they import ok - ours do.

Thank you very much! It worked, but can you tell me what was missing?
Also there is a problem with hiding mouse cursor, when I select "Never show cursor" It doesn't hide - or am I missing something? Thanks!
-
Okay so I get the same problem again, if I record for the first time when the the software is open, it would work, but if I'm gonna record another one when the software's still open, it won't import to vegas pro, I will have to close the software and open again to make it work.... :/

@Quickk-TO re. cursor recording. Which game are you recording?
-
@Quickk-TO Imports ok for us no matter how many recordings are made. Can you:
- Send us a report, so we can check nothing unusual is happening
- Send us the MP4 recording file. Email us a link at [email protected]
-
Now it works perfectly, thank you for fixing the problem!!
