  We haven't been able to find any issues with the file you sent. As far as we can tell it is completely valid. Possibly the issue is Vegas Pro instead so you could check with their support to see if they can advise why it won't import.

  (By the way, the version of Vegas Pro 14 we tested it with was 14.0)

  The logs that we received in your problem report didn't include any attempts to export any recordings. Can you try exporting again and then immediately use the 'Send a problem report' option to send a new set of log files please?

  If its not there, then it means your particular NVidia GPU doesn't support NVenc - hardware h264 encoding. If you've got an Intel hardware option, try that.

  If the time is stuck at 0:00, it would suggest that the PC has either high memory or CPU usage and there is not enough of one of these available for the recording to actually begin.

  If you have a hardware encoder available, make sure you select that as it will take some of the strain away from the CPU. If you don't, the best option is the downloadable x264 option. which tends to use less CPU that the other two software encoders.

  Closing any unneeded apps that are running in the background can also help. As can reducing the resolution or some of the graphical settings in the game.

  Can you reproduce the problem, then go to the Support tab and send us a report. Include in the report the game you're trying to record. Thanks!

  Do you mean on FBX's Start tab? This occasionally happens if your copy of FBX isn't able to download the image for some reason. It doesn't affect FBX's running though so nothing to worry about.

  We're looking at ways to improve the performance of the AMD encoder, but for now the only way of improving performance are the FPS and Resolution options, and trying to pick the best Encoder.

  If FBX won't start, try this:

  Go to the Windows Start button and search for "FBX"
  In the search results open the "FBX Game Recorder" folder
  Select "Send a Problem Report"

  And we'll take a look at it.

  If it happens again, please send us a copy of the file before you delete it so we can check it out.

  Also, you should probably check with Vegas support because they will be able to tell you a lot more about why Vegas is not accepting it - it may well be an issue at that end of things instead.

  Not planned, but you can reduce the size of the overlay by going to the Settings -> overlay tab and unchecking the options to show the shortcuts and duration of recording. You can even turn it off completely.

  You just need to double click on the text and you should then see the text cursor appear to allow you to edit it.

  Next time you record a video with this problem, can you immediately use the Send a Problem Report option on the Support tab to send us your log files please? We'll need to take a look at those to check what is going on.

  Did you run the x264 installer you downloaded? You'll need to do that. If so, can you go to the Support tab and send us a problem report - x264 detection works fine for us.

  Yes, it must have been still running in the system tray. I rebooted the PC and it's showing the pro license now. Thanks!

  FBX should automatically install the relevant redistributable so could you send us the install.log file from your installation folder so we can check why you were required to do that please?
