  We got your screenshot of the error but we don't seem to have received an error report from you. Did you send that as well? We'll need the log files from that to try to figure this out for you.

  Can you upgrade to v2.13 and try again - we have fixes relevant to mic detection.

  To upgrade either reply 'Install now' to the "There is a new version..." message that appears when FBX starts, or get the latest release from https://fbx.gg/download/

  We've found in the past that Bluestacks does something unusual with the tabs that it creates and this causes problems for FBX.

  We're working on a fullscreen record mode which would be better suited for capturing apps that do odd things like this but not sure when it will be ready at the moment.

  Please fInd the FBX Game Recorder folder in your Windows menu and use the Send a Problem Report to send us a report. We'll need the log files included in it to try and find the cause.

  @Himanshu-Godara Sorry, but it seems FBX can't record the Discord overlay, for a similar technical reason as why FBX doesn't record its own overlay.

  @Stragger Is this your first time running FBX? You will only see the "Waiting for login" window if you have not logged in before.

  If you have logged in before, this won't prevent you from recording.

  When we tried Apex Legends this morning we were able to record it ok so we'll need some log files from you to check what the issue could be. Can you do the following please:

  Start FBX and go to the Support tab Change the Log Level setting to Verbose Switch to Apex Legend and wait about 20 seconds to see if the overlay appears If the overlay doesn't appear, switch back to FBX's Support tab Use the Send a Problem Report option to send us your log files Change the Log Level setting back to Normal.

  If you use the Send a Problem Report option in the Windows Start menu, it will automatically send what we need to the correct place.

  You'll only see an Nvidia option if your card is one of the ones that supports their NVENC encoder. Unfortunately that doesn't include the MX150.

  hey i am new to this, i crossed the thing off and shut down the laptop. now it seems i cant open it again to go to my setting for fbx. can someone pls help me. see on the pic that there is no way to open it for some reason.

  Probably you still have FBX running in your system tray when you try to uninstall. You should close if there first - right click the icon and select Exit.

  Because FBX captures directly from the game itself, only the game's resolution is considered, not your desktop's.

  If you have the 'Original' setting selected in FBX, the saved video will simply be the same resolution as the game is using. So if the game's resolution is 1080 x 1080, you should get an unstretched 1080 x 1080 video.

  If you have 1080p, 720p, etc selected in FBX, the game's image will be scaled to that resolution but the aspect ratio will be maintained with black padding added to fill it out to the relevant 16:9 resolution. So if you had 1080p selected in FBX and the game is set to 1080 x 1080, I would expect that you would see the game's image 1080 x 1080 unstretched image with 420 pixels width of black on either side to give a 1920 x 1080 video.

  Can you go to the Settings -> Video tab and try selecting a lower resolution than 'Original' and 30fps, then try again. If its still only recording one second, can you go to the Support tab and send us a report. Thanks!

  Do you mean the audio quality in an MP4 export of the clip is worse than an export of the original recording?

  The way FBX works is it uses the same MP4 recording file for the clip as the original recording, so the audio will be the same.

  We tested Ring of Elysium last and it all recorded ok for us (the video is the next one to be released on our YouTube channel)

  As with your other thread, is it that the overlay is missing or is something else preventing you from recording?
