We'll take a look at that. In the meantime, if you want to set the name of an MP4 file, click the 'Export MP4' button and you'll get the option to name it.
We're working on many new features, including streaming, but it's going to take some time to add everything that we want to add. FBX hasn't had years and years of development like OBS has, after all. Unfortunately, it has been taking longer for us to get some of the bigger features released than we would have hoped but we'll get there.
@Michael-S Can you tell us more about needing to alt-tab between FBX and the game to get the overlay to appear? You should just switch to the game, wait a few seconds, see overlay appear and then you can start recording.
About the lag: can you try the Intel hardware encoder instead of AMD and see how that goes. If you're still getting lag, can you send us a report (from the Support tab).
Thanks for your patience! We've got some unique features coming very soon and want to get these working on streaming as well as recordings, so its a bit tricky, but we'll get there.
Ok - We'll add this soon. We have to get out a big release in Jan with a bunch of unique features, and after that adding the 'combine clips' feature is top of the list.
@hemant-gaikwad Thanks for the feedback. For #3, you are having trouble finding the start and end of the clip you want to save? Or you wanted a different way to mark the start and end?
For #4, you switch to the game and the FBX overlays takes some time to appear? Can you tell us the game and roughly how long?
For #1, we'll look at this. Can you tell us a bit more about what you're doing? You have two things you want to record and are switching between them?
It is on our to-do list to add fullscreen recording as an alternative capture mode.
However, capturing fullscreen will not give the same level of performance as game capture mode so game capture mode will always remain the primary way to record.
