  If you want to uninstall, restart Windows then try again. If you want to get FBX working, try recording again to reproduce the problem, then go to the Support tab and send us a report. We'll take a look.

  Do you see the FBX overlay in Minecraft?

  And can you do this: try and fail to record Minecraft. Go to the Support tab in FBX and send us a report - we'll take a look. Thanks!

  If this is regards to settings not saving, we have located a possible cause for that and there will be a fix for that in the next update.

  I've just sent you a report - you're right and F10 works just fine to clear my UI and the video keeps going plus gives me a couple of extra clips. Hopefully the log will show what I'm doing wrong!:)

  @Sherif-Badawy Ok, we're taking a look at the report. Make sure you're using an Intel or AMD hardware encoder to get the best performance. Select that on the 'Encoder' setting on the Settings -> Video tab.

  We recently fixed a problem relating to this, in a new release on Friday 9th. Can you uninstall FBX, restart Windows, download and install FBX again and try to run it. If it doesn't work, go to the Windows Start menus -> Programs -> FBX Game Recorder -> Send a problem report. Thanks.

  Have you tried the new software encoder that can be downloaded? That will give better performance than either of the other two software encoders and is definitely worth the try

  Minecraft works fine for me as I record it a lot.

  Sorry - not sure what we can do. The fact that its intermittent backs up the theory that its due to memory shortages. You could try rebooting, restarting Minecraft, or restarting FBX and not using the editor - that should increase free memory a little.

  FBX is currently only available in English so there is no way to change to other languages.

  You mean, when you try to view one of your recordings in the recordings list, the video player shows that an error saying it cannot open that recording?

  If so, can you try to open that recording again and then immediately use the Send a problem report option on the Support tab to send us a set of log files so we can check what error is occuring?

  Can you try starting the game, tab out to your desktop and then tab back to the game - does that give the same result of making the overlay appear?

  Can you try changing some option other than the hotkey to see if that changes is saved after restarting FBX?
