  We've managed to record all of those games so we know that FBX can record them. But we did have a similar report for Rules of Survival from another user yesterday so it seems like something could be going on that we haven't been able to reproduce yet.

  Can you go to FBX's Support tab and use the 'Send a problem report' option to send us a set of log files please? Hopefully they will give us a clue as to why you are not getting the overlay.

  Hi. There's nothing in FBX to change the dimensions of recordings I'm afraid. You'll need to use some other software to re-encode it at a different resolution.

  It's actually not possible for the hotkeys to ever work if the overlay hasn't appeared because it means that FBX has not been able to access the game.

  To record from Google Chrome, you need to have the latest version of FBX installed (2.2) and the 'Enable Chrome Recording' option enabled on the Web Games tab of the Settings.

  This option is not enabled by default so can you confirm that you have enabled it yourself?

  Hi. We received your report and it looks like the AMD hardware encoder could be using an excessive amount of memory. Try selecting a different encoder in the Settings -> General tab in FBX.

  Hi,

  We'll need to see log files to figure out what's going on. Can you do this please:

  Restart Windows
  Reproduce the problem
  In Windows Explorer go to C:\ProgramData\Blueberry Software\FBXGameRecorder. In here you should see a number of "session-..." folders
  Make a zip file of the most recent "session" folder (right click the folder and select Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder) and send us the zip file at [email protected]

  Any lag you are seeing is probably due to high CPU usage so anything you can do to reduce that via in-game settings may help.

  Within FBX, you could try one of the other hardware encoders if any are available to you or you could possibly drop the quality setting down a notch.

  Hi. Can you do this please:

  Tell us what game you are trying to record.

  If you can start FBX:

  Reproduce the problem by starting FBX, switching to the game and seeing no overlay, then switch back to FBX, go to the Support tab and send us a report.

  If you cannot start FBX, please do this:

  Go to the folder C:\ProgramData\Blueberry Software\FBX Game Recorder Right click the most recent 'Session...' folder and select Send To -> Compressed Folder Send the zip file it generates to us at [email protected]

  FS9 is an old game, but FBX should be able to record it. Can you do this please:

  In FBX, go to the Support tab and set the Log level to 'Verbose'. Switch to FS9 and leave it for a few seconds. Switch back to FBX, go to the Support tab and send us a report Set the Log level back to 'Normal'

  We can record Garry's mod ok, so we need to see what's happening on your PC. Can you do this:

  In FBX, go to the Support tab and set Log level to 'Verbose'. Try to record Garry's Mod, switching to it and leaving it for a few seconds. Go back to FBX, the Support tab and send us a report Set the Log level back to 'Normal'
