  We've taken a look and found that the app actually uses Chrome internally to display everything, and its difficult to record for some tech reasons.

  If you can play the game in the Chrome browser, and turn on the option to record web games, in the 'Web Games' tab in the FBX settings, you should find you can record StarBlast ok.

  We'd really like to know what's going wrong here. Can you do this:

  Reproduce the problem where it takes too long to open Go to the Support tab Send us a report

  We'll take a look at the log files.

  If you can't open FBX at all, do this to send us the log files:

  In Windows Explorer, go to the folder c:\program data\blueberry software\fbx game recorder Right click the most recent folder named 'Session...' and select Send To -> Compressed Folder Send the zip file this generates to [email protected]

  We'll need you to send us a report, as in our reply to your startup problem.

  Reproduce the problem where you hit the hotkey to stop recording, but it doesn't stop. Go to the Support tab and send us a report. If FBX has crashed, restart it and go to the Support tab.

  And we'll take a look at those log files. Thanks!

  Be aware that microphone recording isn't turned on by default. Go to the Settings tab then the Sound tab and turn on microphone recording. If you still get the problem, go to the Support tab and send us a report.

  Also, if that new version doesn't fix the problem, could you send us the latest log files as described before please?

  (Go to the C:\ProgramData\Blueberry Software\FBXGameRecorder\ folder, make a zipped copy of the most recent Session folder and then send that to [email protected])

  We've tried it out with versions 2.4 and 2.5 and neither of those work with IW4X for us.

  Do you know if they put out any updates at the similar time as us? It could be that something changed on their side which is now blocking FBX, especially since they do seem to have a known issue with their anti-cheat causing problems.

  Can you use the 'Send a problem report' option on the FBX's Support tab to send us a set of log files please? We'll need those to see if there is anything we can do.

  FBX can record for as long as you like - you just need to have enough space on your hard drive for FBX to save the recording to.

  Reproduce the problem, recording and checking that it doesn't play Go to the Support tab and send us a report

  Could you also check what's in your /Videos/FBX Game Recorder folder. If recording was successful, there will be a number of MP4 video files there.

  So you can record the splash screens that appear when you first start the game ok but once you reach something like the title screen or the main menu of the game, that's when you can no longer record? Is it something like that?

  Does the overlay appear for the time that you are able to record?
