  The Focusrite uses ASIO? If so, I'm afraid FBX doesn't fully support ASIO yet. We'll add this at some point.

  If you're not using ASIO, FBX should be able to record it. Can you reproduce the recording problem, then go to the Support tab and send us a report so we can take a look. Thanks.

  To send a report, go to the Support tab and click 'Send a Problem Report'. Then enter your email address and a quick description of the problem so we know its you.

  You should be able to record Minecraft fine, so something odd is happening on your PC. Can you do this:

  Try to record Minecraft as usual and have the overlay crash. Go to the Support tab in FBX and send us a report. This will contain log files. We'll take a look and try to figure it out.

  So the problem is that you've made a recording, but cannot play it in FBX? You see a "Failed loading video" message instead of the movie.

  Does this happen for all recordings or just the one?

  Can you reproduce the "failed loading video" problem, then go to the Support tab and send us a report. This will contain log files we can look at to figure out what's gone wrong.

  Some games take a while to refresh the contents of the Chrome window which can delay FBX being able to detect them. If you interact with the game in some way (such as clicking on it or progressing a screen), does that make any difference?

  Reproduce the problem by making a short recording and playing it back in FBX to check that the sound is fast Go to the Support tab in FBX and send a report

  If you can send us an MP4 file with the fast sound that would also be great.

  Rather than the game's anti-cheat software, it could also be your anti-virus software that is blocking FBX from accessing the games because it mistakenly thinks FBX is trying to do something malicious. Which anti-virus do you use?

  Try a different hotkey then. Go to the Settings tab, Hotkeys tab, put the cursor in the field for Start/Stop Recording and press whichever hotkey you want. It can be tricky to get something that doesn't collide with any of the game keys.
