  Hi. Its still there - the hotkey to pause and restart recording defaults to F8. Take a look at the Settings -> Hotkey tab.

  And we're just about to release a new v3 of FBX in which you'll be able to speed up parts of the recording, to fly through the less interesting bits. Any day now...

  The only browser that FBX can record from is Chrome so you need to be using that to play the games. Then you need to turn on the 'Enable Chrome Recording' option in FBX by going to Settings -> Web Games. When done, you should see the FBX overlay appear over your browser window as if it were a game.

  First: can you reproduce the problem, then restart FBX, go to the Support tab and send us a report. We'd like to know what's causing it.

  Second: you may be able to fix the problem by going to the Audio settings tab and selecting 'System sounds' instead of 'Game sound only'.

  If you have the 'Original' option selected for your resolution, you will record at whatever resolution the game is running at. If that is a 4:3 resolution, then that will be the resolution of the saved video.

  There was a change in Chrome that broke the feature for most users, so we decided to remove the option.

  However, we'll add a new screen recording mode soon that will record all webgames for all users. Upward and onward!

  We found that some changes in Chrome could prevent it from working for many users so it has been removed.

  We'll be adding a new record mode that can be used for recording webs games soon.

  We'll need to see log files. Can you go to the Windows Start button and search for "FBX". The folder "FBX Game Recorder" should appear in the search results. Open that and select "Send a problem report". Thanks!
